How does one search for effectively cheap Cruise Deals at the VERY LAST MINUTE??

Here's an article with a few good tips for those cruise-lovers out there, who just want to get in on those last minute Cruise offers!

How to Search for Last Minute Cruise Deals

One challenge for those who want to go on a vacation, especially when it comes to those who want to go on a cruise ship and a casino cruise is to find last minute cruise deals and discounts. But do you know that not everyone can take last minute cruise deals? So how can you effectively get your last minute cruise deals?

 Steps

  1.  Determine first if you have a flexible schedule. Keep in mind that last minute cruise deals can be given at any time so it is necessary for you to be ready when the cruise ship or casino cruise tells you that the cruise is ready to sail. This just means that you will need to pack your bags right away and go on a cruise whenever they tell you.
  2.  Search for last minute cruise deals. Do a lot of research on different cruise lines and see the places they are going to visit and the length of their tour. After that, join their newsletter subscription to get their latest update. You can also ask your sales agent to inform you about the cruise lines last minute cruise deals. Ask them to tell you straight away if a spot has already opened up.
  3.  Book it right away. Last minute cruise deals happen when a passenger who has already made his or her reservation, cancelled at the last minute, creating a vacant cabin or spot. This opportunity now is given to other passengers who want to join in the cruise, but just couldn’t afford the expenses of a regular booking fee. Last minute cruise deals give way the same services and amenities to passengers who will take them that is why a lot of people who are also searching for last minute cruise deals take this opportunity without second thought. Once you are presented with this opportunity and if you are really decided to join their cruise, take it and leave your worries for tomorrow.

Wanting to take a trip to South America? Maybe some of these tips and suggestions can give you some ideas.

The best spots for the South American summer are going to be:

Buenos Aires, Argentina

-The food is AMAZING there (since they are well-known for their steaks and parrilladas).

-Tango lover? They have a rich culture, and often put on Tango shows either downtown or more exclusively (and a bit more expensively) in a theater. Some restaurants even offer free Tango lessons!

-Sports fan?  Check out the Soccer Hall of Fame at the Boca Stadium. Famous for Maradona and FIFA's No.1 soccer player in the world - Lionel Messi.

-The city's architecture is beautiful, resulting in a pre-hispanic mix with a more modern touch (especially in the Puerto Madero location)

-People are, for the most part, friendly, and you're able to easily travel throughout the city whether it be by bus, taxi or however you choose.

Bogota, Colombia

-Lovely places in Colombia, despite what many people think, it's not really a "drug-lord infested" country. The United States is higher ranked in that department, more so than Colombia.

-Spectacular beaches, specifically at the Tayrona National Park. If you're a nature lover, then this is your paradise. Free of tourist-developed areas from its national park status, trees coming right down the mountainsides and up into the sand, massive rock formations dotted along the beach coast.

-No hotel? Set up an open-air hammock and relax while watching the beautiful night scenery.

Porto de Barra (Salvador), Brazil

-Rich in history. Salvador is Brazil's oldest city. With many old areas filled with historical landmarks, such as colonial forts, old theaters, and many world-renowned museums.

-Very clean, nature-like areas. The people of Salvador love their ravishing nature with sparkling clean waters.

    - Always something interesting going on at the Porto de Barra, whether it be a beach-based sports game (Football, tennis, volleyball, or fisherman yelling wildly at their potential catch, there's always something to see.

-Wonderful view. You can always see an amazing sunset, with Porto de Barra being one of the very few beaches in Salvador facing west.

These are the most lovely places I've been able to find. Here are a few more if you're really interested in seeing all things South America.

Cuzco/Machu Picchu,
Lima, Peru
Iquitos (Amazon river), Peru
Ica/Nazca lines, Peru
Arequipa, Peru
Santiago/Valpo/Vina del Mar, Chile
Patagonia in Argentina/Chile
Mendoza, Argentina
Iguazu Falls

Travel Insurance- NEVER leave home without it!

How to Choose Travel Insurance

Your travel bags? Check. Your airline tickets, your passport, and all traveling documents? Check. Your digital camera to capture the scenic moments? Check. You’re pretty sure everything you need to bring to your vacation spot is all ready for the trip. Everything’s secured, except you.
Most often, people disregard the value of a travel insurance. They think that it is just an addition to their travel expenses and that they don’t need it that much, not unless they’re anticipating an accident to happen along the way, which of course, no one would want to do.
A travel insurance can protect you in various ways when you’re on a trip. It can protect you against financial loss if you are forced to cancel, delay, or interrupt your vacation. In special cases like non-refundable travel such as airfare, hotel, and tour expenses, a travel insurance could also be relied upon to help you. Moreover, a travel insurance could also aid you against loss due to medical emergencies, damage to personal property, and even a death that may occur while you’re on a vacation. Of course, you wouldn’t want to be feeling so lost and panicky when something unfortunate happened to you while you’re on a trip. With travel insurance, you can easily seek assistance in replacing lost luggage, arranging a flight back home immediately, or even medical help.
Now that you’ve pretty much understood the importance of having a travel insurance and you’re already thinking of getting one for your next trip, be sure to take the following pointers in mind before in choosing the right travel insurance for you:

 Steps

  1.  Check if the insurance company you are considering have international recognition or at least to the country you are traveling into. There are a number of internationally recognized insurers who have a network affiliates that could offer you assistance within and outside the country you’re visiting.
  2.  Make sure that the policy you are buying includes traveling to the country you are planning to visit. Don’t forget to get from the insurance company the direct contact numbers and people within and outside the country you’re visiting that could help you facilitate inquiries regarding medical assistance, travel advisories, and emergencies.
  3.  Ensure that the insurance you are getting covers your medical condition, just in case you have important medical histories.
  4.  Check the refund policies. Make sure that you understood very well their policies. Some policies will refund your money if you cancel months in advance, but take note that there are only few insurance company who are giving refunds if you cancel at the last minute.
  5.  Find out about cancellation waivers. Cruise and tour operators may offer cancellation waivers. This means for a fee, they will reimburse you a portion of your cost if you cancel for any reason up to 24 hours prior to departure.
